Ignatian Men Confront the Real Issues

Chris Laham ’13
On the eve of the 2012 Elections it was an anxious day for the men who partook in the Informed Ignatian Debate. In this debate, moderated by Mr. Michael Howard, instructor in History, each group was to prepare responses to several topic areas:  the deficit, drug policy, gun control and health care.  classmates who were members of several political caucuses on campus went head to head over heated topics regarding the recent presidential election.

These informed Ignatius men were thoroughly prepared and did the school proud with their sound and respectful arguments. Though there was no clear winner because of the sheer preparedness of the informed Ignatians, one thing was certain, they all harbored strong beliefs and had no problem communicating their respective points of view.

You can see the debate here through the Itunes Library.  Other guest speakers performances are also located there.
